As a native Austinite, I've been deeply in love with the ATX for over 25 years.  After attending Westwood HS in the Northwest Hills, I pursued my BA in economic analysis at Rice University in Houston...then promptly came back to my hometown as quickly as humanly possible.

My intimate familiarity with every corner of the Austin area is simply unparalleled - seriously, nobody knows Austin better.

I'm a long-time volunteer for Keep Austin Fed, and occasionally moonlight as an underground arm wrestler for charity. You can almost always catch me wake surfing on Lake Austin, two-stepping or salsa dancing the night away, eating my way through every tasting menu and taco truck in town, and taking too many photos of my cat.
